Rick Spencer has made much of his living as a musician for nearly 30 years. As a performer he has worked throughout the

. As a recording artist he has been heard on more than a dozen recordings as performer, producer, session musician, recording engineer, arranger and remix engineer. His most recent CD of original songs, "Waiting for Me" was released in December of 2007. Rick Spencer teaches acoustic guitar, including flat picking and finger styles in the folk, blues and singer/songwriter genres; 5-string banjo in the clawhammer, frailing and "old time" styles and mandolin in the folk, country, jazz, bluegrass and Irish styles. Beginner to advanced levels. He also teaches beginning and intermediate Appalachian dulcimer and Anglo concertina.
In addition Rick conducts seminars and workshops, group or individual, on songwriting and composition in the folk, singer/songwriterand country styles.
